SAAL

Aircraft Delivery Operations

SSSI established a complete Logistics Service Center and warehouse facility in Sydney, Australia. In 1996, the subsidiary known as Sikorsky Australia Limited (SAAL), was created to provide the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and the Royal Australian Army (RAA) with mission essential technical and logistic services, spares and repairable component management for the S-70 aircraft that comprise the fleets for both branches.

SAAL is responsible for managing the spares assets on the behalf of the Australian Military. These assets include repairable components, breakdown spares, and consumables. SAAL also provides the customer with Field Service Representatives (FSR), Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and engineering technical and design assistance. In addition, SAAL is often is tasked to provide in country modification and depot maintenance teams as well as training and technical publication support and update services.
