Sikorsky International Products, Inc. (SIPI) is responsible for providing maintenance, technical, and other support services for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, their associated facilities, ground support equipment and other ancillary equipment in countries outside of the United States.
SIPI utilizes a total program approach in designing support programs to meet our customer's budgetary requirements.
Sikorsky International Products Inc. (SIPI) developed, implemented, and manages an aviation maintenance and logistics program for the Brazilian Army Blackhawk Aircraft operating out of Manaus, Brazil. Under the original agreement, SIPI was tasked to design and construct a self-sufficient base operation complete with hangar, personnel housing, warehousing facilities, power generation, communication, and transportation networks for Brazilian Army as well as SIPI personnel.
SIPI personnel currently provide back-up aviation maintenance as well as full logistical support for the Brazilian Army's S-70 Blackhawk aircraft. SIPI was instrumental in the air/ground /sea movement of the Brazilian Army Aviation program from Patuca, Ecuador to Manaus, Brazil. At the present time, SIPI supports the Brazilian Army's 4th Squadron with a theatre of operations that extends throughout the Amazon regions of Brazil.
